Beams with an “I” shaped cross section are commonly referred to as I beams.  The horizontal elements of the I beam are called flanges and the vertical element is known as the web. The cross section of a W (wide flange) 10X19 steel beam is I shaped and is often used in residential construction.  It has dimensions d (depth) = 10.24 inches,  bf (width) =  4.02 inches, tf (flange thickness) = .395 inches and tw (web thickness) =.25 inches.  Ignoring the fillets and rounds at the inside and outside corners of the cross-section and treating it as an assemblage of three rectangles, calculate the moment of inertia about the x-axis.
