Cаse #2: Jаcksоn Detаils:  Jacksоn is a 9 year оld with a bilateral moderate conductive hearing loss. Jackson wears bone conduction hearing devices on both sides. He recently had the surgery to upgrade his devices and improve his access to sound. He likes them, but is struggling with background noise. He uses a remote microphone system in school which helps. Jackson also participates in afterschool programs where the remote microphone is not used. He sometimes struggles to keep up with instructions. Jackson and his mom want to have some auditory training to boost his ability to hear in noise and better hear instructions when he can't see the face of someone speaking.
