It is not uncommon for me to award extra credit for really well-written and insightful answers to essay questions. Question 1 Your company manufactures a product that relies heavily on aluminum. Explain all of the following: Three challenges to the aluminum supply chain that your company is most concerned about and why you have each concern (be as specific as possible) Your recommendation for the best way to ensure a reliable supply chain for aluminum for your company in the next 1-3 years. Then explain two concerns you have about your recommendation and why you have these concerns Explain which scope emissions your company is most concerned about in your aluminum supply chain (i.e., scope 1,2,3). Question 2 Your company manufactures a product that relies heavily on at least one of the following rare earths minerals Dysprosium, Terbium or Samarium. Explain all of the following: Three challenges to the rare earths supply chain that your company is most concerned about and why you have each concern (be as specific as possible and note which of the rare earths – or all 3 – you are referring to for each challenge). Your recommendation for the best way to ensure a reliable supply chain for one or more of the 3 rare earths for your company in the next 1-3 years. Then explain two concerns you have about your recommendation and why you have these concerns Explain which scope emissions your company is most concerned about in your rare earths supply chain (i.e., scope 1,2,3).
