If you are merely looking on the online calendar (instead of in the actual modules) for assignments and due dates, you will miss important instructions and will miss grades (since assignments such as Discussions do not show up in the calendar). Also, if you are only checking your progress through an external app (and not the grade book in eCampus), your grades may not be displayed accurately.
