Canvas will display countdown warning banners 30 minutes, 5 minutes, and 1 minute before the exam deadline. Please pay close attention to these reminders. The exam will automatically submit at the scheduled deadline, even if you have not used your full allotted testing time. The Midterm Exam opened at 6:00:00am EST, Monday, July 20, 2026 and the submission deadline is 11:59:00pm EST, Monday, July 20, 2026. Submissions made between 11:59:01 ET, Monday, July 20, 2026, to 11:59:00pm EST, Tuesday, July 21, 2026 will incur a 20% penalty. Submissions made between 11:59:01pm ET, Tuesday, July 21, 2026 to 11:59:00pm EST, Wednesday, July 22, 2026, will incur a 40% penalty. After 11:59:00pm EST, Wednesday, July 22, 2026, Midterm exams which have not been submitted will be assigned a grade of zero (0).
