Questions

This quiz will tаsk yоu tо creаte а stellar evоlutionary mind map for both low- and high-mass stars from their formation stage (Position #1) down to ultimate stellar death stages (Positions #8, 9, and 10).  Put the stellar evolutionary stages in chronological order from the beginning to end using the numbered positions labeled in the diagram. Position #1 refers to the 1 bubble shown on the figure and so on.  If you cannot view the embedded figure below, quickly reload your browser.   The order is everything here.  Position #1 asks the stage where formation occurs (for both high- and low-mass stars).  High-mass evolutionary stages are all listed on the left side of the mind map chronologically going down (positions #2, 4, 6, 8 and 9).  Position #8 is the most massive death for a high-mass star. Position #9 is the death of a high-mass star not as massive as #8.  Low-mass evolutionary stages are all listed on the right side of the mind map chronologically going down (positions #3, 5, 7, and 10). Position #10 is the death stage of a low-mass star.  All other stages are the intermediate stages in the order that they occur.  Each position is worth 1 point.  Choose the best term for each position. Terms may be used more than once.  Partial credit is possible and will be manually inputted by me after your submission.
