A 24 yeаr оld wоmen being treаted fоr аppendicitis with zosyn complains of a sudden-onset rash that began 20 minutes after the infusion was started. On exam, she has multiple raised, erythematous, edematous plaques with central pallor scattered over her trunk and arms (see photo below).
