You’re interviewing for your first job as a software developer. The Interviewer asks you if it would be possible to create a network application that uses UDP for packet transmission, but operates like TCP (e.g.: it’s able to detect packet loss and re-transmission). Can this be done? If so give a high level explanation of how you would implement this functionality. Is this an efficient means off network utilization?
